Resources
We have gathered a collection of tools and resources from across Canada and abroad to support neuroinclusive housing.
While some are region-specific, they can serve as inspiration and be adapted to different needs. We will continue adding to this collection as new insights emerge and invite you to share helpful resources with us through the Contact form.
Founded in 2018, the Community Housing Transformation Centre is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making community housing a key player in reshaping Canada’s housing landscape.
At its core, the Autism and/or Intellectual Disability Knowledge Exchange Network (AIDE Canada) is a tool to connect members of our community to the information and resources that they need. AIDE delivers credible, reliable, and evidence-informed resources in an unbiased and accessible way.
The housing continuum is the range of housing types that are commonly available in a community. Autistic people live everywhere along the housing continuum — from emergency shelter on one end, all the way to homeownership on the other. Along the continuum lies an assortment of housing options and types, each critically important for different people at different times.
Solutions, shared wisdom, and creative ideas for landlords, builders, developers, designers, architects, housing providers, social workers, roommates, friends, family, caregivers, and individuals.
